My personal experience: I saw this hotel come up on Hotwire for $102 per night. While I was not 100% certain I would get the LBV Resort Village and Spa, I felt fairly certain I would get this because it had a close match of amenities and was recently reported on the *Hotwire Forum*. At this price, I could not resist and went ahead and booked this. No surprise, I got the hotel that I was expecting.
If you have read any reviews on TripAdvisor, you will probably know that the best building to stay in is Building 5. Those with kids will want to be close to the pool, and most everyone will want to have a view of the nightly fireworks at the Magic Kingdom. If you have booked on Hotwire, there is both good news and bad news. The bad news: you likely will not get rooms with a view of the fireworks. Thanks to reviews on TripAdvisor, these rooms are in very high demand and only go to the hiest paying customers. The good news: Hotwire displays Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa as a 4 star hotel, so you are going to get one of the units that has been recently refurbished. This is nice because, according to hotel management, units are individually owned and therefore vary in quality.
Although you might not get a fireworks view, you are going to be staying at a great resort and getting a great deal. I paid $100 per night for 2 bedroom suite with a full kitchen, free wifi, in-suite laundry, and free parking. This is an awesome place and you cannot really go wrong.
