Every so often, a website needs a homepage make-over. HotelDealsRevealed is working on a new design. Currently, we are trying out a new look on the homepage. Have a look at the screenshot below.

New home page for HotelDealsRevealed
The new home page is divided into 4 main sections. The main body of the home page features an introduction to HotelDealsRevealed. We chose the tagline “Priceline and Hotwire Hotels Revealed” as this best captures the mission of this site: to help travelers bid better on hotels when using Hotwire or Priceline. This is best accomplished by seeing winning bids and using the hotel lists to identify your hotel.
The body of the homepage also features a prominent search section. Simply the city or state of the destination you’re travelling to, and choose from these 4 result types:
Hotel Lists: for most cities and towns throughout Canada and the United States, we have lists of hotels that are known to be on Hotwire and Priceline. This means you can identify your hotel before you bid.
Winning Bids: A Hotwire and Priceline discussion forum where travellers share the winning bids (hotel room purchases), revealing the name of the hotel, price paid, and other into to help you bid better.
Report A Win: This is an extremely important part of the site. This feature allows customers a way for people to report a purchase that they made on Hotwire or Priceline. The community of people who use this site appreciate your contribution!
Bidding Help: For people who have a question about Hotwire or Priceline, there are lots of experts willing to help answer your question. From beginner basics to advanced rebidding, all questions welcome.
Top Navigation of HotelDealsRevealed – We feature a cleaner and simpler navigation bar (menu) at the top of the page. By far, the most popular sections of the site are the hotel lists and the winning bids (forum). The Priceline and Hotwire hotel lists are a database that allows you to find out what hotels are known to be available on Hotwire or Priceline. This allows you to get a pretty good idea of what hotel you might get. The forum has a large community of travelers all sharing information about Hotwire and Priceline such as winning bids, help on identify a hotel, and other travel topics.
Real winning bids are also helpful. Thanks to a many great contributors, the Hotwire and Priceline Forums contain winning bid information such as the hotel name, price paid and other great information about better bidding on travel and hotels
Additional Priceline and Hotwire Resources – The bottom half of the new homepage shows 4 popular sections of the site. Hotel lists, actual winning bids, and links to a collection of information on Priceline help and Hotwire help.
Throughout the new home page, you’ll also see links to the website’s blog about Hotwire and Priceline. This used to be a very small link on the bottom of the home page. Now that we have the content rounded out quite a bit, it’s becoming a great educational resource for travelers bidding for travel. If you haven’t checked it out yet, it’s well worth a browse.
