Priceline is a great alternative for travelers booking a hotel in Paris where the exact hotel does not matter. That’s because with Priceline’s Name Your Own Price, you bid on a hotel by specifying your hotel criteria: travel dates, vicinity, and hotel star rating. However, you do not know the exact location of your hotel until after you place a bid. If your bid is accepted, you then find out which hotel you received. Note that reservations on Priceline are non-refundable and cannot be changed or cancelled.

There are few cities that are more expensive than New York City, and within the city, Midtown Manhattan is the most expensive and sought after area travelers want to stay. This is for good reason: Midtown is the hub of Manhattan, the center of it all with Broadway, Madison Square Garden, the Empire State Building, and Times Square all within arms reach. Unfortunately, the cost of hotels is astronomical and savvy travelers should consider Priceline hotels in Midtown Manhattan.

HotelDealsRevealed.com collects information from travellers who have actually used Priceline. Customers are willing to post their winning bid, and report how much they paid and reveal the hotel name. Thanks to Priceline forum members, we know much about the Westin Diplomat on Priceline.

(1) The Westin Diplomat is a 4 star hotel on Priceline.
(2) The hotel appears in the Hollywood bidding zone.
(3) The Westin Diplomat tends to go for between $100 and $120 per night, although we have seen it go for as low as $70 and as high as $140.

The credit card is required for any additional hotel specific service fees or incidental charges or fees that may be charged by the hotel to the customer at checkout.
Ever wonder what hotels are on Priceline? These hotels are some of my favorite on Vancouver Island but you won't find them on Priceline. Whenever I travel, I use Priceline first. I find that Priceline works best when you do not really care about the hotel you get other than the hotel class and vicinity. However, if you are picky about your hotel, here are five Vancouver Island hotels not on Priceline. It's a little unfortunate because these are arguably some of the best hotels on the Island. (By the way, you won't find them on Hotwire either).

I'm travelling to Fort Lauderdale and used Priceline to book my hotel stay. As a strong advocate of Priceline, I want to offer some insider tips on Fort Lauderdale Hotels on Priceline. Although Ft. Lauderdale is fairly large and has a total of 11 Priceline bidding zones, the vast majority of visitors to Fort Lauderdale stay in 1 of 3 areas: the airport, the beach, or Hollywood.

Fort Lauderdale Beach is a vacationer's epicentre of the city. The bidding zone is a long narrow strip along the beach, and wonderful for vacationers. Note though that although the zone includes the word "beach", not all properties are immediately on the beach. You could be across the street or a half block or so away. There are a couple of "Resorts" in this zone, which I will check out when I'm there, but presumably they are quite awesome. Slightly lower in the pecking order but still great are the 4-star hotels in the beach area. A word for the wise...
